Amplifiers
A device that increases the voltage, current, or power of a senor and/or signal. This increase is called Gain. There are three different kinds of amplifier gain that can be measured; Voltage Gain (Av), Current Gain (Ai), and Power Gain (Ap). Amplifiers otherwise known as an AMP enhance a devices output. Amplifiers function by taking power from a power supply. Amplifiers can be classified into three categories; voltage, transresistance, and current amplifiers depending on their usage and designs. Our electronic parts catalog contains Buffer Amplifiers, Comparators, Instrumentation Amplifiers, Isolation Amplifiers, Operational Amplifiers, Other Amplifiers, and Sample and Hold Circuits.
